Why neighbors call us
A dumpster company that keeps things simple
Renting a roll-off should take one conversation, not a week of phone tag. Tell us what you are tackling and we will tell you the size, the price and the day it shows up.
From a Burns Park attic cleanout to a full gut job on the west side, Ann Arbor Dumpster handles the hauling so you can focus on the work. We know the tight driveways, the tree-lined streets and the older homes that make this town special, and we plan every drop around them.

What we haul for
One container, a hundred kinds of projects
Whatever is piling up, there is a roll-off that fits it. These are the jobs we see most around town.
Home & garage cleanouts
Basements, attics, garages and that spare room nobody has opened since the move. Clear it in a weekend.
Kitchen & bath remodels
Old cabinets, tile, drywall and fixtures go straight from the room to the container, not onto your lawn.
Roof tear-offs
Shingles add up fast and weigh a lot. We size the box for the squares on your roof so the crew never waits.
Construction & demolition
Framing scrap, concrete, packaging and tear-out debris for new builds, additions and interior demo.
Yard & storm cleanup
Downed limbs, old decking, fencing and landscaping debris after a big project or a rough Michigan storm.
Rentals & move-outs
Landlords and property managers use us for unit turnovers, estate cleanouts and the end-of-lease rush.
Container sizes
Pick a size. We will double-check it.
Every quote starts with a quick chat about your project, so you never pay for more box than you need, or run out of room halfway through.

How it works
From first call to final haul in four steps
01
Reach out
Call, text or send the quote form. Tell us what you are clearing out and where the container should go.
02
Get a straight quote
We recommend a size and give you a clear price that spells out the rental period and what is included.
03
We drop it off
Our driver sets the container exactly where you asked, with boards under the rails if you want them.
04
Fill it, we haul it
Load it at your own pace. When you are done, give us a ring and we take it away for disposal.
The local difference
Big enough to deliver. Small enough to care.
National brokers pass your order down the line. When you call Ann Arbor Dumpster, you talk to the people who own the trucks and run the routes.
Quotes you can read
Rental days, weight allowance and any extra charges are spelled out before you book.
Respect for your property
We look for low branches, soft lawns and fresh pavement before the container ever touches down.
Days that match your schedule
Need an extra few days or an early pickup? Text us and we adjust. Plans change; we get it.
Responsible disposal
Loads go to licensed facilities, and we steer metal, clean wood and concrete toward recycling whenever practical.
Questions
Good to know before you book
Still wondering about something? Text (734) 555-0142 and a real person will get back to you.
How far ahead should I book a dumpster in Ann Arbor?
A few days ahead is usually plenty, but spring and late summer get busy with move-outs, roofing season and remodels. If you have a firm start date, call (734) 555-0142 as soon as you know it and we will hold a container for you.
Do I need a permit to put a dumpster on my street?
If the container sits entirely on your driveway or private property, a permit is usually not needed. Placing it on a public street, sidewalk or other right-of-way typically requires approval from the city or township. Check with your local office before delivery day and we will gladly share what we know.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
Our drivers set containers down carefully, and we can lay boards under the rails on request to spread the weight. Let us know about soft ground, fresh asphalt or decorative pavers when you book so we can plan the drop.
What can I not put in a roll-off dumpster?
Hazardous materials are not allowed. That includes liquid paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel, batteries, propane tanks, tires and appliances that still contain refrigerant. Washtenaw County runs a household hazardous waste program for many of these items. If you are unsure about something, ask before you load it.
How full can I load the container?
Load up to the top edge of the walls, but not above it. Overfilled containers cannot be legally hauled, and the driver may need to remove material before pickup.
How long is a standard rental?
Rental length depends on your quote and project. Most homeowners keep a container for about a week, and longer rentals are easy to arrange. Tell us your timeline and Ann Arbor Dumpster will build the quote around it.
